I Am the Door
Done for the Mood Board Challenge #2 found here: https://oscraps.com/community/threads/august-challenge-2-mood-board.40293/
I used inspiration from #1, 2, 9, 10, 12 and explained here…..
I normally struggle with the Mood Board Challenges, but this one really came to life for me this month. Thanks for the inspirations, Rae!
My main inspiration was the door in #2. When I saw the door, I thought of the Bible verse I have on my page. Being saved means having eternal life. The universal color for life is red. Red is found in almost all of the squares, but I will go with #10 because the dripping red reminds me of the blood Jesus shed on the cross for our sins. (So the door is red and the drips are red.) Why did He do this? Because He loves us! Love is symbolized using hearts, so that is square #1. Square #9 makes me happy! Knowing I have eternal life makes me happy! And, last of all, I love butterflies, so square #12!
“I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.” John 10:9 (NKJV)
Since this is a faith-based page, I thought the red door being a church door was very appropriate!
