Hybrid Valentine Cards

I am loving my new kit, "Love, the Greatest of These!"  I figured it would make some cute Valentine Cards, so I made a set today.  The set includes 6 different cards.  4 for the kiddies and 2 teacher cards, one being more masculine.  These are top-folding cards and when finished, they measure 2 1/2"w x 3 3/4"h.  There are guide lines to help in cutting them apart and then for folding them.  They are to be printed out on heavy to card stock weight notebook sized paper, 8 1/2 x 11."  There are 4 cards on each page.  After printing the front of the card, flip the page over and run it through the printer again to print the back (inside) of the card.  There are also matching envelopes, 2 envelopes per sheet.  Print these on lighter paper than card stock weight.  There are also guide lines for folding the envelopes.  The finished size of the envelope is 4"w x 2 3/4"h.  There's plenty of room on the cards to include a scripture verse, if so desired.  Click on the preview to go to the product in my Faith Sisters store.

New Kit and a FREE QP

February is the month to celebrate love!  And what better love to celebrate than the Greatest Love shown to mankind, the Love of God!  Of the three virtues, Faith, Hope and Love, Love is the greatest.  God's kind of Love.  Unconditional Love.  Love for us in spite of ourselves!  That is how I got the name of my newest kit, "Love, the Greatest of These" from 1 Corinthians 13:13.  Click on the preview to find it in my store at Faith Sisters.  Below it is the link for the free quick page I made using this kit.  Hope you like it!  And, thanks for stopping by Today!

New Product and a Challenge!

Before I show you my new product in the store at Faith Sisters, I wanted to talk about the February Desktop Calendar Challenge that I host at Faith Sisters.

Each month, I provide a template for you to use in the creation of your desktop calendar for the next month.  In other words, it is January, but I will be providing the template for you to use in creating your February 2011 desktop calendar.  The template should be easily adaptable to whatever size of screen you have.  I also provide several versions of a monthly calendar for you to choose from when creating your desktop calendar.  You will be able to blend these into your favorite paper or use as is.  Also, there is a text file included in the download giving you some instructions on how to find the dimensions of your desktop and how to apply your new desktop once you have it completed.  I hope you will give it a try!  It is fun!  And the best part is the pride you have in knowing your Desktop is Younique!  :D

My desktop calendar for February is below.  I used my brand new kit, "Love, the Greatest of These" to make it.  Preview and link to the kit are below.

You will also find preview and link to a brand new set of "2011 Planner Pages."  This project began as a request from a digi friend a couple of weeks ago and evolved into many more pages than I anticipated.  After tweaking and adjusted for some of the pages to face each other, which means you will have the option of punching the pages on the right or the left, depending on your preference in how you set them up in your planner, there are now over 100 pages included in the files.  All pages are 5 1/2" W x 8 1/2" H @ 300 ppi in JPG format.

Thanks for stopping by Today!

New Hybrid Card Set

Lori Imel of LA Imel Designs has done it again!  She used my "A Fresh Start" kit to create some beautiful cards with matching envelopes!

http://faithsisters.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=5706

These cards are totally customizable.  Add a title to the front - "thank you", "thinking of you" - for whatever occasion you need an elegant card. You can either print the completed cards on 1 piece of cardstock, cut in half and fold, or you can print on regular paper and adhere to the cardstock.  I have also included a sheet of all of the pieces on one paper that you can cut out and layer on your card - to give a more dimensional look.

This item includes: 2 elegant cards and matching envelopes that you can print out and share with your friends and loved ones.

Providence 365

I made up my mind to do the 365 project again this year.  Faith Sisters has a bit of a different twist and is calling it Providence 365 with an emphasis on looking for God's providential blessings on our lives.  I also vowed to myself that I would scrap more with my kits this year, so this project will help in both areas.......killing 2 birds with one stone as the saying goes!  Not that I would wish to kill 2 birds......anyway, you know what I mean.

Today, I want to share my project with you thus far.  I have added a link to the kit I used so you can click on the name of the kit is under the layout.  Thanks for taking the time to look!
