The Little Things by Vicki Robinson at O'Scraps

While riding on the bike I have lots of "down" time to think and pray and watch. One of my favorite things to watch are the clouds. They are always changing. The sky was a beautiful shade of blue above the cloud cover. A sight to behold!

Journaling reads: We arrived at the Currituck Lighthouse at 2:45 p.m. after traveling all day across Virginia and North Carolina. 

After Midnight Designs at O'Scraps

Such a beautiful lighthouse we visited today. Even the base is beautiful! It reminds me of a music box and the tower is the angel spinning so the lamp in the top can spin as it shines it’s light for the world to see! 6/8/21

I blended my seagull photo into one of the elements from the kit. The lighthouse in the background was given a color burn blend and then the opacity lowered.

Danesa and I became acquainted through O’Scraps. When I found out she lived close to me, I suggested we meet for lunch. Our loving husbands were concerned for our safety, but we were not in the least bit worried! We were meeting in a public place. And my comment to Danesa was, “I can’t picture scrapbookers being murderers! We had a good laugh! We spent more than an hour together (my journaling is wrong)! My husband said if he didn’t hear from me by a certain time he was going to come looking for me!

I took a picture of a flag last month; one that was standing straight out in the wind! When I realized today was Flag Day, I decided to scrap it.

I used a solid paper and brushes from the ArtPlay Palette Evanescent.  I picked the color of the flower to color some of the brushes behind the photo.  Then I duplicated those brush layers to make the color show up more.

The background paper is from the Lavandula paper pack.

I used the overlay blend on the rose stamp then duplicated the layer and grouped with the journal card, each from Life is Rosy.

I used a watercolor element from the Magnificent kit as a photo clipping mask, duplicated so the photo would not be so transparent.

I recolored the word art from the Magnificent kit.

The flower in the journaling cluster is from Magnificent Watercolor Embellishments.

The border paper, ribbon and thread is from Life is Rosy, as is the knotted ribbon and thread in the journaling cluster.
