More Scripture ATCs

I completed my 8th set of ATCs, using words from the daily devotional I am reading, "One Good Word a Day."  If you have the book, you will probably notice that I have changed the words and/or verses to some of them.  I am enjoying this process.  I hope you are, too!

Reveal

Journaling reads:  Judge nothing.  When the Lord comes, He will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the motives of the hearts. Then each one’s praise will come from God.  1 Corinthians 4:5  5/20/24

Draw

When I think of Jesus drawing us to Himself, I think about the woman at the well for some reason.  Fill my cup, Lord!

Journaling reads:  No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.  John 6:44  5/21/24

Memory

Sometimes I am anxious about “things” because I forget to remember the many blessings of the Lord!  Our minds should be a treasured sanctuary for remembering the good gifts from the Lord as well as learning from the bad things that have happened to us!

Note to self:  Clear the moths, unlock and release whatever is hindering your brain from remembering all of the many blessings of the Lord!

Journaling reads:  Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits.  Psalm 103:2  5/22/24

Peacemaker

When I thought about being a peacemaker, I thought about the difference between being a lion and being a lamb.  I couldn’t find the exact images I wanted to portray a lion and a lamb lying down together in peace.  And when I found these characters in Lynne’s store, I went with a whimsical depiction of them together, sharing an umbrella instead.

Journaling reads:  Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.  Matthew 5:9  5/25/24

Surround

Like relaxing in your favorite chair, wrapped in a cozy blanket, on a Sunday afternoon, God’s love surrounds me.

Journaling reads:  Let Your unfailing love surround us, LORD, for our hope in in You alone.  Psalm 33:22  5/27/24
