Wood Sorrel, Shamrock
Done for the April Template Challenge #5 found here: https://oscraps.com/community/threads/april-2022-challenge-5-template.35202/
Journaling reads: I
love this delicate pinkish purple flower that comes up every year in the front
of our house. I decided to find out more
about it. From the Southern Living
site: Oxalis has leaves typically
divided into three leaflets, giving them the look of clover leaves. Flowers may be pink, white, rose, or
yellow. Good in borders or pots and
resists deer.
I changed out the ribbon and leaves and buds from the
template and used elements from the kit.
But since the flowers on the template had 5 petals like my flowers in
the photos, I just changed the template flowers to the colors given in the
description of the Oxalis flowers. I
added the yellow centers using a round brush.
I used an April Featured Product: Blossom Collection by Vicki Stegall https://www.oscraps.com/shop/Blossom-Full-Collection.html
The template was created by Kay for the challenge
