I love looking through the trees and capturing the beams of
light from the sun. The light and
shadows are fascinating. The lower the
sun, the longer the shadows!

This Borders and Ribbons
The garden is about gone for the year, but the marigolds are
going strong! And the bumblebees have
really been enjoying them, too, of late.

Araya is dressed for Apple Day with her red pig tails and

Fall Ball
Araya and Thad both made goals in their first game of fall
soccer! Way to go!
Middle-Aged Women
This boy of mine! We
were having a conversation tonight and he suggested that I start a Facebook
message with another mom a specific way, then he said, “trust me, mom. I know middle-aged women.” Is 41 “middle-aged”?
