June Review

Left Side

Journaling reads: June was full of family and friends time, vacation time, garden goodness, birthday celebrations....all kinds of goodness and lovely things shared!
Vacation for Mark and I was a bike trip to the Outer Banks, NC. We visited all 7 of NC's lighthouses. A wonderful, bucket list trip.
My sister, Kim, who lives in Florida spent the first week of June with me. We had lots of fun playing games and spending time with my good friends, Ilene and Carolyn. Of course we had to teach Kim how to play Rummikub!
Also got to spend time with my daughters and their family.
We attended a birthday party of Nellie's. She turned 5 and will begin Kindergarten this year!
Our trip to the Outer Banks was wonderful! We enjoyed the seagulls following the ferry boats, especially! So fun to watch! We did not want to climb the lighthouses, just visit and take pictures, even if at a distance.
And I just realized I forgot to write about one of our O sisters living near me and we met for lunch.....@Danesa! I'll have to edit my copy of the layout.

Right Side

Journaling reads: My snow peas arrived and they were really good! I plan to plant more next year!
When we got back from our lighthouse trip, we took the bike for a bath to wash off the ocean salt.
We ate breakfast with Jen when we went to watch Jaxon play in the All Start tournament.
We went to watch Dakota play ball, too.
And I took a team picture for Jaxon and had to photoshop out a light pole.
And to finish out the month, Ilene and I met Elisabeth and the grandkids at Finch Park for a KFC picnic lunch.
