With the release of the new CAKE (Create A Kit Event) products, I decided to make a template to coordinate with the palette.  Remember, each of those CAKE slices are only $1.50 through March 27th and then they will go to full retail price.

"Shall We Tangerine Tango" is the title of the new CAKE (Create A Kit Event) at Digitals.  And TODAY, March 2nd, is the LAST DAY each item in the category is on sale for $1.50 each! You can pick and choose the pieces that suit you and create your own kit. Many styles and themes to choose from.....but all with the same color palette.

I chose to turn the palette into a male theme. My idea was to create elements with 6 categories: basic elements, big boy toys, little boy toys, sports, tools, and boy clip art. I ended up with these categories of elements plus 2 paper packs. Forgetting that the limit per designer was 5 packs, I ended up combining the papers and basic elements into a kit that is sold separately from the CAKE category in my personal shop. This is the last day the kit is on sale, too, for $4.50!  There's a kit with 8.5x11 papers and a kit with 12x12 papers.  Tomorrow everything goes to regular pricing.

New Product for the Boys!

Hi!  Remember me?  :D  I've been busy creating, as you will see today!  Someone left a comment once that there were not a whole lot of boys kits available, so I've kept that in the back of my mind.  Well, when I saw this color palette that the designers voted to work up for the next CAKE project, I immediately decided I had to work up some boy stuff!  So, here's what I came up with.  The name came from my 7th grandchild, Thad.  Below the product, you will see a cute picture of him sucking his thumb.  Also some other layouts using a combination of the kit and elements packs.  I looked through my husbands closet to get ideas for the plaid papers from his shirts.

CAKE for $1.50 per Slice!

If you are here because the title tempted you, don't despair!  I do have CAKE for you for $1.50 per slice!  No, it isn't the cake-you-eat sweetness, but it is just as sweet!  Sweetness you can play with!  The CAKE I'm referring to is the new special event, Create A Kit Event, that Digitals will be having every month!  This month there are 144 slices of goodness to choose from!  And you need to hurry because our first CAKE eating contest is about to end!  The pieces will no longer be available at the sale price after Saturday, February 11th, 2012!  So hurry and gobble up as many pieces as you can!
