The games have ended, BUT the scrapping challenges are live until the end of the month as usual! So you still have time to participate for the chance to win a prize!
Here are the pages I did for the scrapping challenges, plus some of the miscellaneous and designer challenge pages are at the end! Links are provided for each of the challenges!

Mr. Bluebird - Day 1 Gift 2
Secret Gift 2 Found here: https://oscraps.com/community/threads/day-1-secret-gift-challenge.38677/
Journaling reads: I am surprised to see the bluebirds coming so close to the house with the birdbath hanging off the deck. They don’t really go to the feeders, but even the bluebirds need water. I’m happy to oblige. Such a pretty bird! 12/1/23

Dark Shadows - Day 1 Gift 3
Secret Gift 3 Found here: https://oscraps.com/community/threads/day-1-secret-gift-challenge.38677/
Journaling reads: This photo turned out badly as the lighting is all wrong. Mark is in the shadows. I tried to adjust the shadows but then it looked like we had sunburns. I’ll just have to try again but turn the dining room light on first. 11/30/23

Dear Santa - Day 3
My sample page done for the Border Challenge Day 3 I am hosting is found here: https://oscraps.com/community/threads/day-3-create-a-border-challenge.38673/
Dear Santa, did you get my tweet
of presents I would think are sweet?
And what about my Facebook post
of toys and stuff I want the most?
Dear Santa, did you read my blog?
That’s where I keep a running log
of all times that I’ve been good
and doing things I know I should.
I hope you saw my Instagram,
my email wasn’t flagged as spam,
you’ve seen my YouTube channel too
and all my texts have made it through.
Wait, does the North Pole even get
computers and the internet?
I hope it does, I mean, it better,
or I might have to write a letter.

Curious Titmouse - Day 4
12 Days of December - Day 4 Re-Do a Layout Challenge found here: https://oscraps.com/community/threads/day-4-redo-a-layout-challenge.38751/
I used a page I did for a Designer Challenge back in November 2020 (Put a Bird On It). I used the same page design, but switched out the photo to a current one and changed the journaling and kit.
Journaling reads: I recently removed the screen from my kitchen window so I could take clearer pictures of the visiting birds at my feeders hanging off the side of the deck. I’m pretty sure the birds can see me watching them. I got tickled at the “expression” of this titmouse this morning. I would love to know what thoughts ran through its head! 12/4/2024

As I Hold You - Day 6
Done for Day 6 Scrap Holiday Song Lyrics found here: https://oscraps.com/community/threads/day-6-scrap-the-lyrics-of-a-holiday-song-challenge.38808/
Journaling reads: This song is a beautiful and moving solo from Mary's perspective. My daughter has been taking voice lessons and this is her “debut” song she is singing at church on Sunday, December 10, 2023. It brings tears to my eyes. Being a mom makes me wonder at the feelings Mary, the mother of Jesus, the only begotten Son of God, must have experienced as she held that miracle child in her arms! Oh, my! I hope these lyrics touch your heart and soul the way they did mine!
As I Hold You
Words and music by Joel Shoemake and Barry French
Arranged by John Patrick
Tiny fingers wrapped around my fingers;
Tiny arms held in mine.
A part of me wonders if You remember
Where You came from and why.
Eyes that first held the universe;
Mouth that formed the sea;
Ears that heard the first creation’s cry;
All entrusted to me.
As I hold You in my arms,
Keep You safe and warm,
Protect You from the storms that gather;
God, I feel so very small,
I don’t understand at all,
How You will stop our fall.
Sweet Jesus, as I hold You, hold me.
Years of waiting for the King of glory;
Generations gone by.
And now in answer to our cries for mercy,
I hold the Father’s reply.
Will You rule over the promised land?
Will You conquer our foes?
Or do You plan for something grander still,
Something none of us know?
As I hold You in my arms,
Keep You safe and warm,
Protect You from the storms that gather;
God, I feel so very small,
I don’t understand at all,
How You will stop our fall.
Sweet Jesus, as I hold You,
My sweet Jesus, as I hold You, hold me.
My soul doth magnify the Lord;
The God of all creation has come into this world.
Ah, hold me.
My soul doth magnify the Lord;
The God of all creation has come into this world.
Ah, sweet Jesus, as I hold You,
My sweet Jesus, as I hold You,
Sweet Jesus, as I hold You,
As I hold You in my arms,
Keep You safe and warm,
Protect You from the storms that gather;
God, I feel so very small,
I don’t understand at all,
How You will stop our fall.
Sweet Jesus, as I hold You, hold me.
Luke 2:16-19 (KJV)
16 And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger.
17 And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child.
18 And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds.
19 But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.

Pretty Birds - Day 9
Done for the Day 9 Scraplift Challenge found here: https://oscraps.com/community/threads/day-9-chain-scraplift-challenge.38762/
I chose Susanne’s “Fresh Start” page found here: https://oscraps.com/community/media/fresh-start-jpg.385802/
The inspiration for my page was her multi photo, horizontal design.
Journaling reads: Since I removed the screen from my kitchen window it is much easier to take pictures that are clear. I love seeing the different birds that visit the feeders. Pictured from left to right: Carolina wren, pine warbler, male house finch. I do not know if the wren and warbler are male or female. However, the wren is pretty big and is probably a male. And the pine warbler’s coloring is not gray-brown, so I think it is a male, too. The wren and warbler generally stay in the woods, but logging recently may have forced them out of their homes. My Gift to the World - Day 10
Done for Day 10 Gift to the World Challenge found here: https://oscraps.com/community/threads/day-10-gift-to-the-world-challenge.38836/
Journaling reads: My gift to the world is a gift that was given to me. It is a gift that is meant to be shared. And it is a gift that keeps on giving; once you have this gift…once you truly take possession of the gift, you can’t help but share it! It changes you from the inside out. It is a gift that is offered to everyone, but not all will receive it. This gift is free to me and all who will receive it, but it was very costly to the Originator of the gift. This gift has been shared by many, received by many, and rejected by many for more than 2,000 years.
This gift came from heaven in the body of a baby. This gift was wrapped in swaddling cloths and laid in a manger of hay, not in a king’s palace. This gift was God’s gift to the world and His name is Jesus. God’s whole reason for giving this gift was because He loved sinful mankind. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
But this baby had a task to perform. He was no ordinary baby. He was born to die. In those 33 years between His birth and His death He lived a sinless life (a life you and I cannot live) so that His death would be a sacrificial death, the gift to pay for my sins…yea, and for the sins of all who receive His gift. “For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.” John 3:17
Jesus didn’t have to condemn the world. Adam and Eve took care of that when they disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden. And from that day forward mankind has followed suit. But there is good news! “He that believes on Him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” John 3:18
My gift to the world is not new. The message of salvation has been around for more than 2,000 years. The question I would ask is, will YOU receive the Gift? Or, will you reject Him? This would be the perfect time of year to receive His gift, the gift of salvation and eternal life, and then you, too, can share THE Gift of all gifts to the world!

Brown-headed Nuthatch
Journaling reads: This brown-headed nuthatch came to the feeder the first time ever today. I found out they make their home in the pine forest. The pines next to our property were being logged, and I’m afraid this little guy lost his home! Maybe he will find a new home soon but come back to the feeder! 12/1/23

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know
Where the treetops glisten and children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Christmases be white
