Decluttering was the name of the game for February. And it started in my closet. Lots of clothes to get rid of. I wear the same things all the time and have outgrown some since I’ve gained 30 lbs in the last 5 years.

Lunch at Amigos...twice in one week! I am usually not ready to eat when Mark wants to go to lunch. But I know he is needing a break, so I go. I usually end up taking half of my order home.

It has been warm enough that the daffodils are beginning to bud and bloom at church!

Valentine’s Day was a busy day. It started by taking my widow friends, Ilene and Carolyn, to the widows’ meeting in Statesville at the Damascus Baptist Church. And then Mark and I went out to supper to celebrate . That’s all I need! No flowers or candy needed! 2/14/23
Flowers on the tables at the widows’ meeting. The bouquets are always so pretty!
I’ve been busy knitting things for Tyler and Sarai’s baby shower.

February’s weather was really warm; so warm that lots of the trees and perennial plants budded and bloomed! I’m sure the cold weather will return and nip them in the bud!
The baby poncho I knitted for Tyler and Sarai’s baby turned out so cute! I added a ruffle on the edge of the turtle neck! This is a picture of it being blocked.

Mark is getting closer and closer to finishing up the cabin in the woods by the fire pits. He has done a wonderful job!
Watched Jaxon play ball on Saturday, March 25th. He pitched a winner game! He was only allowed to pitch 9 outs. Otherwise he would not be allowed to pitch in anymore games during the weekend games.
YUP! It’s that time of the year!

One of my favorite things to do in the spring....actually anytime....is to watch the birds as they come to my feeders. I moved the feeders to the deck and was half afraid they would not come to the feeders so close to the house! So glad I was wrong!

Finished the slouchy, comfy sweater and started another one!

A nice and sunny (but chilly) Sunday morning!

Sweet little Ellie passed out the beautiful Camellia flowers to all of the ladies present at church today.
