The Spider’s Web
HAPPY HALLOWEEN 2022!
I'm not a Halloween buff, but I saw this poem in my Farmer's
Almanac email today. Knowing I had some spiders and webs "hanging
around" I decided to do a not-so-creepy page!
Journaling reads:
The hollow winds begin to blow,
The clouds look black, the glass is low;
The soot falls down, the spaniels sleep,
And spiders from their cobwebs peep.
–Dr. Edward Jenner, English physician (1749–1823)
Photo taken of the spider and web on the tree by our front
door on 10/31/2022
I blended my photo into a background from the kit using Soft
Light blend mode, then I duplicated the photo until I got the desired effect,
but in doing so I lost the spider. So, I changed the very top photo back to
Normal blend mode and I clipped it to a mask from the kit.
