DARE to Release Your Fear by Angie Young Designs

Perfect Love
As soon as I saw this kit of Angie's, I thought of this verse: 1 John 4:18 (NKJV) "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love." And then after getting the kit I found the perfect piece of art in the kit that says the same as this verse, "Love is the only thing that can cast out fear." How cool is that? Great kit!

Life Upside Down

I had this wonderful photo of Ryan that I wanted to do something with, so I googled "life upside down" and who would know that I would find a poem with the exact title that worked exactly with my page! So, the link led me to a Christian lady on Hub Pages, user name of lambservant, Lori Colbo. She is a grandma and wrote this poem for her grandson. I asked her for permission to use the poem on my page and let her know I would be posting it in different places on the web. Art Journaling and Process

Here's an art journaling page I have been working on for a few days now.  I made my 9x12 background with my homemade gelli plate, which is 11x14.  Then I stamped some smaller patterns in the background.  Next, I stamped the flowers, colored them and added stems and leaves.  Then I opened up a photo in Photoshop Elements and, using my Wacom tablet made a sketch of the photo (I'm not a drawer, LOL!)  I printed out the sketch, colored in the back of it with an oil crayon.  Laid the colored side down on my page and traced around the sketched lines.  Then I used the original photo as a guide for coloring.  Added some journaling and VOILA! 
Journaling reads:
Psalm 139:14 (NKJV) "I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelouos are Your works, and that my soul knows very well."
Written around the figure of me:  I want to always use my gifts and talents in a way that brings honor and glory to the Lord since He is the One who gave them to me.
