Our good friend, Ilene, came to our house to stay during the winter storm that had been predicted to be very bad. We did not want her to be alone in her house in case the electricity went out. We have a generator that will help out in that case. However, the Lord answered our prayers and the weather was not as bad as predicted. She stayed Saturday night and Sunday night and we took her home Monday afternoon. We played Qwirkle, Rummikub, and worked 3 puzzles and listened to our pastor’s sermonette on Sunday. It was great having her with us! 1/26/26

The storm began at 7:45 p.m. Jan. 24th with, not snow, but sleet. And it kept piling up and looked like snow. But, it was better than ice! 1/26/26
