My January started out with the flu! Still not back 100%, but I'm trying! Here's what I've accomplished so far this month, outside the 10 days of missed life.....

I love the whimsy my daughter created when she decorated Ryan’s trophy with a Santa hat and Christmas lights! She will leave it up long enough for our Family Christmas Gathering the weekend of Jan 10th. 1/2/26

Fonts: I used Hobo Std Medium and used the Inflate Warp tool and then used the transform tool to stretch it even further to follow the outline of the Santa mask.

My current status.....unmotivated.....tired.....uncaring.....How do I break this cycle? I’m not sure! At least I’m not wanting to sleep all day like I was when we first got sick with the flu. But, when I “feel” the need.....when I “intend” to be creative.....I sit in front of the computer and stare at the screen. Even the challenges don’t motivate me.....right now, anyway. I’m hoping that writing out my feelings will release something in my creative being for a near-future change! I can hope! 1/17/26

New Year
January 2026 has been an adventure! It began with promise of newness - new year, new bathroom, new beginnings of getting organized. . . and then the storm of sickness hit out of the blue. . . flu. The next week and a half was lost in a fog. Then, finally, the fog began to lift. It has been a slow rise, but it is rising! Thank You, Lord!

January
We’re off to a rip-roaring start in 2026. We’ve had drainage probs in the kitchen and after confirming those pipes were clear, the next step is to get the septic tank emptied, meaning digging to the lid for hiring the pumper. 1/3/26
