Flower Power Layout for Project 365

Since we are allowed to use other design kits by other designers than those at Digitals, I have used one of my own kits for May 31st Project 365 page. Click on the link and you will find my free Flower Power kit. The title is an alpha that is included with the kit. I used Arial font for the journaling.

Photo Word Template FREEBIE!

OK, here is a freebie template for your personal use only! The first image is what the png file looks like and the second image is what it looks like filled with a picture. You can fill it with whatever you want. You could fill it with a paper and then lay a picture on top of that. What I did in Photoshop Elements with the example shown below the template was to open the template file and open a picture file. I placed the picture layer on top of the template layer and then group the picture to the template.

Have fun! I'd love to see how you use the template! Post a comment with the link to your layout if you use the template! That would be great and very much appreciated!

Thanks for stopping by!

More Flower Power!

Well, my good friend at Stinkerpot Scraps did a layout using my new kit, Flower Power. And, it is beautiful, don't you think? I happen to know her mom and dad, who are the subjects in this wonderful layout. There is no date on this, but I'd say they were married mid 1970's just as my DH and I were. His hair tells all! Why don't you stop by Stinkerpot Scraps blog and see what she has going on. Lots of goodies over there to see!

Flower Power - FREEBIE for You!

Well, this is the last of the designer challenges for Round 4 at Brownie Scraps. We were given two weeks to complete this project. We were given a number of pictures for our inspiration and the kit could be as big as we wanted and we were left to our imaginations. The picture that inspired me was of a white, leather couch with retro designed pillows that had big flowers on them. And some mod picture on the wall. So, my immediate thought was a kit called "Retromania." I googled to get some ideas and came up with the color scheme shown in my preview. And I saw some different flowers and patterns and my imagination took me from there! I could not stop making the papers! I finally just made myself quit making things for the kit. I had so much fun with the colors! I even made an alpha to go along with the kit! Most of the kit is shown in the preview, but not quite all of it. There are 5 folders to download! Just click on the preview to go to the downloads at Media Fire.

As always, please leave a comment or any suggestions you might have. And I would love to see your layouts using the kit! I'm working on one of my own for my Project 365 that I'll post here soon, maybe later tonight even! ENJOY!

How Does Your Garden Grow? FREEBIE for you!

YEAH! It is finally here! The 5th kit created for the Brownie Scraps designing challenge is finally here! This is a bit different this time. It had to be a collaboration between yours truly and one of the other girls taking the designing challenges. The partner I was assigned to is Debbie Allee. She has created some awesome kits during this round of challenges at Brownie Scraps! Here is the link to her blog, "Scrappin' on the Lane." Why don't you pay her a visit and check out her kits! Be sure to leave her some love and thanks, especially when you download her kits!

So, Debbie and I went with a garden theme. I sent her a sample of an item I had that I liked the colors of and she made up the color palette and then I made a few elements and she said with what I had and with what she was thinking of that we could go with something to do with the garden. I googled garden quotes to see if I could get any ideas for a name. I listed several and Debbie chose, "How Does Your Garden Grow?" And, voila! There you have it! And, the previews below show you what our separate portions of the kit contains. My preview is first and Debbies is below mine. Just click on the preview for my downloads. Debbie's downloads are listed under her preview.

And, as always, if you download the kit, comments would be appreciated! Also, if you use the kit to make a layout, I would love to post it here! You can contact me at vickyday13@gmail.com.

ENJOY the kit!

Oh, and by the way, the final designer challenge is not due until May 17th! And, it promises to be a goodie!
