Catch-up

Where in the world did the first half of November disappear to so quickly?!  I just realized I never did get back here to post the challenges I have participated in this month.  Grab some coffee.....or your favorite beverage.....and, hopefully, you will be inspired!

Bounty of Beauty

I just took the “Storytelling Photography” class of Anna’s and decided to try my hand at it.  However, the 5-10 photos turned into about 20 because I just can’t get enough of the fall colors happening in our woods.  So, I had to really pare it down to do this page.

It was such a beautiful day!  The sun was shining, but it was chilly, so a  layer or so added was necessary.  Mark went down to the pits before me because I wanted to walk to take some pictures.  I love the fall colors in the leaves and how the light filters through the trees.  We listened to our evening devotions while enjoying the fire.  11/6/25

Miscellaneous New Kits and Pages

November Vibe BUNDLE by Angelle Designs

It’s Still Fall

Even though it is still fall and the leaves are beautiful, the weather forecast is snow in the next few days, especially in the mountains, for Monday, Nov. 10th.  We have had pretty chilly weather already.  10/30/25

November

Using Template from November Vibe BUNDLE by Angelle Designs :

While enjoying the fire when Mark and I were at the cabin, I caught a glimpse of the flames in the fire pit reflecting in Mark’s glasses.  So I started adjusting the tilt of my head to be able to capture the flames in my own glasses.  It turned out pretty cool, in my opinion! It looks like I am concentrating pretty seriously about the whole business.  11/6/25

The last thing I have to share are the weeks 2 and 3 SAVOR art journaling pages.

SAVOR - Week 2 found here:  https://oscraps.com/community/threads/november-art-journaling-week-2-savor.43139/

"The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee"

Numbers 6:25

What a beautiful thought to know the Lord smiles down upon His children.

Even though we sin, He still loves us with everlasting love!  It is unfathom-

able!  I savor the thought of His unconditional love for me, a sinner who

deserves only the fires of hell because of my sin.

We are all born in sin.  We all come forth speaking lies.  We are not sinners because we sin.  We sin because we are sinners.  Look it up in His word!  But, thank God for His redeeming love in Christ!  I love to savor the thought and realization of His Amazing Grace and Love!

Another thing I savor is the beauty of the fall weather, my favorite season!  I am so thankful for this season!  Not so much for the following season, but I will take the bitter with the sweet!

And, I savor the time in the woods in this season.....the fire blazing is so comforting.  And this year, we have a porch to relax on and savor the beauty of the fall season!  Thank You, Lord!  These pictures were taken on 11/6/25.  And this is my prayer for all who read this.....

“The Lord bless you and keep you;

The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you;

The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.”

Numbers 6:24-26

SAVOR - Week 3 found here:  https://oscraps.com/community/threads/november-art-journaling-week-3-savor.43140/

"While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease”. Genesis 8:22

I love the newness of Spring when the flowers begin to appear again.  But, Fall is my very favorite time of the year!  I love the cooler, crisp air.  I love the beautiful colors in the changing leaves.  I love walking through the leaves that have fallen to the ground.  I love the sunshine that plays on the colors of the changing leaves.  I love the beautiful blue of the sky.  I would be happy if the whole year were the Fall season!  Since that is not going to happen, I savor Fall as long as it lasts!

And my spirit rejoices in God my Savior”  Luke 1:47

My 30 Days Project and Challenge

Well, I certainly have been slack at posting updates to my project for November.  In trying to get others to join me in a 30 Days Challenge, I have tried to stress that there are no right or wrong ways to do the challenge.  If you do a Google search for ideas, you will get a plethora of things you can do.  And if you read my thread at OScraps, you will find ideas there that I found, but be sure to begin reading at Day 1.

Today, I will show you everything I have posted to date through today.  Be sure to visit the links to read some of the ideas.  Thank you for stopping by!

For my project, I chose to do 3 days per 12x12 page, using a template.  I then reverse the template for the next 3 days, using the same products as for the first 3 days of the "set" of 12x12 pages.  That way the facing pages coordinate with one another.  So, I am only listing the product links once for each 6-days set.

Day 1 of 30 Days Challenge found here:  https://oscraps.com/community/threads/november-gratitude-challenge-day-1.43104/

November 1, 2025 - Saturday

Thankful for strength to do my chores.

Today began early...7:15 a.m.

Mark was picking up his stepson, Michael, to spend the day with him.  They would be outside most of the day working.

I had a grocery order scheduled for  an 8-9 pickup time.  I left the house around 8.  First stop was CVS to get Famotadine.  I then got the groceries, stopped at the PO box, unloaded the groceries, swept and dusted and began the laundry.

November 2, 2025 - Sunday

“I was glad when they said unto me, ‘Let us go into the house of the Lord.’”  Psalm 122:1

We missed gathering with our Brothers and Sisters in Christ while we were in Alabama last week, so we were excited to get to see them all again this morning!  I was there extra early today because Mark had to use Dorothy’s van to pick up Lorien and Carolyn in time for the 11 o’clock service.  Dorothy and I are there by our- selves until the pastor gets there.  I took this picture when I went to get the mail.

Day 3 of the 30 Days of Gratitude Challenge found here:  https://oscraps.com/community/threads/november-gratitude-challenge-day-3.43117/

November 3, 2025 - Monday

This is my beloved recliner, inherited from my late husband, gifted to him on his last Father’s Day here on earth in 2017. I have tried to keep this corner free of work by setting up a desk in the bedroom, but my laptop ends up back out here in the living- room where my DH spends his evenings relaxing in front of the TV.  So the other paperwork ends up here, too!  C’est la vie!

Day 4 of the 30 Days Challenge is found here:  https://oscraps.com/community/threads/november-30-days-challenge-day-4.43131/

November 4, 2025 - Tuesday

I had a rough night of ups and downs to visit the bathroom.  I ate the rest of the Apple Pecan Salad I got from Wendy’s on Sunday and I think I am going to have to leave those alone.  I had a night like last night a couple of weeks ago after eating the rest of the same salad.  Don’t know if it is the dressing or what.  And it may not be the salad.  IBS!  What fun!  BUT, I sure am thankful for these products to help me through!

For Christians, seeking medical help and trusting God are not opposing concepts, but rather complementary approaches to healing. The Bible suggests that God uses doctors and medicine as tools for healing, and many Christians view their medical care as an answer to prayer. The New Testament even includes Luke, a physician, among Jesus' followers. The key is to find a balance, praying for healing while also using wisdom and available medical treatments, without idolizing either faith or medicine.

Day 5 of the 30 Day Challenge is found here:  https://oscraps.com/community/threads/november-30-days-challenge-day-5.43133/

November 5, 2025 - Wednesday

Today I will be picking up Mark from work and driving him to his digestive appointment.  We will probably grab lunch on the way back.  It is supposed to reach 70 degrees today.  Today I am thankful for doctors and the sunshine flowing through my living room window.

Day 6 of the 30 Day Challenge is found here:  https://oscraps.com/community/threads/november-30-days-challenge-day-6.43136/

November 6, 2025 - Thursday

Up with the chickens today.  I don’t seem to sleep well after Mark leaves...unless I’ve had a rough night.  But, last night I was in bed by 11 and slept pretty soundly besides the normal tossing and turning throughout the night.  So, rising earlier is not a problem.  My first order of business is to fix my coffee.  And, while that is perking, I unload the dishwasher.  Today I am very grateful for this modern convenience!

Day 7 of the 30 Day Challenge is found here:  https://oscraps.com/community/threads/november-30-days-challenge-day-7.43147/

November 7, 2025 - Friday

My morning brew is a whole process in itself.  But hubby knows the process, so that’s all that matters! ;-). First, unload the dishwasher to retrieve the clean mug.  Next, insert the mug under the Keurig spout to capture the coffee...16 oz. from one pod.  Finally, add 2 ice cubes and French vanilla creamer to make 20 oz.  Voila!  Enjoy!

November 8, 2025 - Saturday

"America is another name for opportunity" by Ralph Waldo Emerson

"In the truest sense, freedom cannot be bestowed; it must be achieved" by Franklin D. Roosevelt

I am so grateful to be an American!  I’m thankful God led my Brandenburg ancestors to this great country!  I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else!  Do our leaders get it right all of the time?  No!  But, I am glad God is in control, even when it doesn’t look like it!  Thank You, Lord!

Day 9 of the 30 Day Challenge is found here:  https://oscraps.com/community/threads/november-30-days-challenge-day-9.43155/

November 9, 2025 - Sunday

I am thankful to be living in the south, especially since my daughter in Ohio has a weather forecast of a winter storm watch for this evening!  Today, we are going to be in the low 70s but dropping into the high 30s by tomorrow morning.  At least it isn’t freezing!

Day 10 of the 30 Day Challenge is found here:  https://oscraps.com/community/threads/november-30-days-challenge-day-10.43158/

November 10, 2025 - Monday

Today I am thankful for this little nook in the kitchen.  When I moved in after Mark and I married the built-in stove was very old.  I always hated cleaning those grates and the grease-collecting pans.  Then I had my son-in-law, Terry, keep an eye out for a flat stove top on his auction site that he frequents.  Voila!  He found this one for a mere $100!  Mark installed it and I am pleased!  I don’t use it much, but when I do clean-up is so much easier!

Day 11 and 12 of the 30 Day Challenge is found here:  https://oscraps.com/community/threads/november-30-days-challenge-days-11-and-12-combined.43168/

November 11, 2025 - Tuesday

I left the house at 9 to begin the pickup of the 4 widows from our church who were attending the monthly meeting at Damascus Baptist Church in Statesville.  Fourteen sweet ladies turned out for the meeting on this chilly, yet bright and beautiful day.  The pastor’s wife, Juanita, standing in the background, loves to add a special, personal touch by creating a delicious meal for the ladies.  Kelly is her helper and music leader.  She is not pictured.

November 12, 2025 - Wednesday

The van we rented to carry the ladies to the widows’ meeting had all the bells and whistles...more than I knew what to do with!  We could not figure out how to adjust the middle seats to allow someone to enter the 3 seats so Kathy had to climb through a small area.  The pastor at Damascus showed me how to operate the seats.  It was a very comfortable ride.  To the ladies it was their limo and I their chauffeur!  I am returning the limo today.

Day 13 of the 30 Day Challenge is found here:  https://oscraps.com/community/threads/november-30-days-challenge-day-13.43176/

November 13, 2025 - Thursday

I spent the day with my friend, Ilene.  I picked her up around 10:45 and we went to lunch at Ruby Tuesday for their $8.99 deal - salad bar, American Smash Burger combo with fries.  We had to bring the burger home with us.  I dropped mine off at the house when we headed back that way.  After we ate, we went to Dollar Tree to buy some gifts for the Samaritan’s Purse Shoe Boxes.  Then we went back to her house and spent the afternoon working a jigsaw puzzle.  We had not worked one together in quite some time.  It was fun for a change from our normal Qwirkle.  Left her house at 5, came home to dress warmly to go to the woods to listen to our evening devotions.  Mark was waiting with the fires already stoked!  I didn’t stay long because my stomach has been messed up today.  Thank You, Lord, for time spent with good friends!

Day 14 of the 30 Day Challenge is found here:  https://oscraps.com/community/threads/november-30-days-challenge-day-14.43182/

November 14, 2025 - Friday

One thing the COVID pandemic did that made life somewhat easier at very little expense is online grocery shopping.  While there are days when I want to just roam the aisles of the grocery store to look for the things I need because the store has moved things around once again, mostly I love being able to order my groceries from the comfort of my home…not having to roam the aisles in search of my needs.  I am happy to pay my shopper $1.99 to do the roaming!  So, there are blessings in everything if you just look for them!

So, there is a look at how I am doing my project.  And hopefully there is some inspiration for you to begin your own project!  I'll have more later!  Probably will post a completed set after the 18th.

I do have some pages I finished with some new product that I will do on a separate post!  Until then, have a wonderful day!
