Sabbatical Sale

So, do you remember I mentioned that my son gifted PSCS5 to me back in January?  Well, I just have not had the time to learn the program for designing purposes.  I just always fall back on what I know (PSE) so I can get the work done rather than take the time to learn something new while I'm designing.  And my designing mentor has told me this is not advisable, anyway!  Plus, I've been in a designing slump and have thought a couple of times about quitting for good.

I really do not want to quit designing, but I am rather tired of designing the traditional digital kit.  I became very intrigued by the art journaling type of kits, yet they kind of scared me to think of using/designing them!  Then Cilenia Curtis had a CT call so I decided what better way to learn more about the artsy designs than to work with someone who is a master at it!  Not only do I get to work with her kits, but I get to work with the other master designers who are associated with the SASsy Girls designers at Scrap Art Studio.

So, my plan for now is to take a sabbatical from designing so I can learn my program and learn more about the artsy designing at the same time.

So, what does this mean for you?  Glad you asked!  :D

From today, September 15th, through the end of the month, I am having a 50% off sale on EVERY item in my shop at Digitals.  After that, the kits will be gone FOREVER!!!  So, you have 2 weeks, basically, to grab what you want!

From time to time, as I am learning my new program, I will be posting freebies here for you to download and give me feed back on what you think.

Thanks so much for stopping by from time to time.  I hope that you will continue to follow my progress as I learn PSCS5!

Now, go and grab those kits so you can scrap those memories before they fade away!

  2. Vicky - love your work and cant wait to see what you will learn. Art journaling is wonderful and I have seen so many wonderful styles that I have barely touched (mine pales in comparison) CS5 is great - you will love it when you take the time to explore. I admire you for the sabbatical - stay in touch and keep creating!
